Before moving to Topsail Island, Hunt & Leigh have always had a connection to North Carolina. Hunt was born in Texas but North Carolina was his home for many years before moving back in 2021. Leigh is a native Texan but has always considered North Carolina her second home after spending summers here visiting family.
Prior to obtaining their NC real estate license, Hunt & Leigh followed their servant’s heart and entrepreneurial drive and started a healthcare company in Frisco, Texas (a Dallas suburb). For over a decade, they owned and operated several licensed assisted living residential care homes that focused on providing 24-hour personalized care for seniors with dementia.
Hunt graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Accounting and Business Management and spent the next 25 years leading sales teams with global companies such as Kellogg’s, Diageo, AC Nielsen, and Infosys. In addition to his corporate success, he was a stellar leader in his communities with roles such as: President of the Community Development Corporation; Chairman of the Board of Parks & Recreation; President of the Soccer Association; Board Member of the Geriatric Wellness Center.
Leigh obtained a BS from University of North Texas and a MS from the University of Texas at Arlington. Leigh’s vast experience as a healthcare professional included roles such as: licensed clinical social worker (LCSW); medical device sales representative; hospital marketer; and homecare / hospice educator.
Hunt & Leigh have over 50 years combined experience in successfully helping individuals attain their personal and professional goals, while exceeding expectations. Their vast experience makes them the ideal team to assist in your residential or commercial real estate needs. They will work closely with you to fully understand your personal dreams or professional goals, and then work tirelessly to exceed them.
Hunt & Leigh are passionate about immersing themselves into the community in which they live and work, while making a positive contribution. When they are not assisting clients achieve their real estate goals, you will see them around Topsail Island boating or playing pickleball. (Hunt is a certified pickleball instructor and Leigh’s goal is to beat him in pickleball VERY SOON!) Hunt is a Board Member at the Topsail Island Boat Club and Leigh is on their social committee so they love participating in their annual oyster roasts and celebrations. You will also see Hunt & Leigh at the Topsail Senior Center loading their Jeep to deliver Meals on Wheels, or eating a delicious lobster roll at the popular Maine Lobstah Shack in Surf City.
